About the Cover Our front cover comes to us from the Geibs' place in DeSmet, South Dakota. An afternoon spent preg checking cows yielded family time with Jessie VanderPoel, St. Paull, Minn. and her nephew Keegan Kettwig, Marion, South Dakota. Keagan and his aunt were discussing the day's events and soaking up knowledge necessary to follow in the footsteps of his family.
Rachel Marthaler, owner of Rachel Marthaler Photography, Hastings, Minn. was behind the camera. Rachel's boutique studio specializes in lifestyle portraits as well as livestock and agricultural images. Her livestock experience includes photos for her family's operation, Wulf Limousin Farms and also Boehringer Ingelheim.
